The Bayern Munich President Franz Beckenbauer has warned Mario Gotze, that he needs to change if he wants to succeed in the club.
The midfielder joined Borussia Dortmund in 2013, but failed to win a place in the titular team.
Mario Gotze's agent recently complained that his client did not receive enough support in the team of Bayern, but Beckenbauer had said that the German national had to take responsibility for his own performance.
'I don't know if Mario misses his support, but certainly he could not have a better team around him in the last two seasons. I don't know what kind of support he needs.', commented Franz Beckenbauer.
'The player must be accountable for their own performance. If Mario wants to succeed at Bayern and in his third season, he has to change his game. We need to do more, particularly in the one on one battles. We need to offer more at this level.', added Beckenbauer.
