Lalana: 'Liverpool should not be influenced by criticism.'

17.09.2015

The offensive Liverpool midfielder Adam Lalana is sure that criticism to the presentation of the team's not going to affect the players at upcoming meetings.
Tonight, Merseysiders began the campaign with a visit in the Europa League against Bordeaux in France. They enter the game after two consecutive defeats in the Premier League – from West Ham and Manchester United, which only increases the tension in the meeting with the French players.
'Our job is to play football and no matter how we deal – good or bad – people will always have their opinions.', said Lalana.
'There are times when it's best to concentrate on working and leave others to speculate. We need to focus, because a hard match is coming. We have to leave with a positive result, which could reverse things for us before the next match of the Premier League (household against Norwich City – b. b.).'
'I have tremendous confidence. We must remain United in the good and bad moments.', added the 27-year-old English international.
