After only 2 matches played, the legendary Brazilian Ronaldinho left the Indian futsal team Goa 5. The reason for the decision of Ronaldinho is the fact that he was selected for the upcoming Paralympics Ambassador to his homeland.
The Brazilian wrote a special letter to the fans in India, where he apologizes that he has to leave the League and promised to return for season 2 of Premier Futsal. In the letter, he states that only recently he found out about the role of the Paralympics and dramatically adds that 'his country needs him'.
In the team of futsal, Ronaldinho will be replaced by his former teammate in the Brazilian national team, Cafu.
Ronaldinho amazed the Indian fans with five goals in his team's victory with a 7:2 over the weekend. Without him, however, Goa 5 last night finished with 2:2 against Calcutta 5.
