Begovic: 'I do not deserve the gold medal!' 17.05.2017

The Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, has announced that he does not deserve to get a championship medal of the Blues.
Chelsea will get a total of 40 medals awarded to teams and team members.
Begovic, has had 2 games this season, but according to the rules of procedure specifically for the reserve goalkeepers, he deserves the distinction.
For the rest, the requirement applies to field players who have appeared in at least five games of the team. This will leave without a medal three footballers of the team.
Begovic explained that the rules need to be changed: 'I think it should not be like that, with these five games. If you were a part of the whole season, you sacrificed a lot, played your role every day. It is nice to have a medal, I am grateful. But they have to rethink the rule because I don't think five games are needed for the medal.'
