Real Madrid has an official statement about the scandal with Ronaldo 15.06.2017

The management of the European club champion Real Madrid came out with an official statement about the tax scandal with Cristiano Ronaldo. The four-time winner of the Golden Ball is accused of tax evasion of nearly 15 million euros and the Prosecutor's Office in Spain pressed charges against him.
The statement said that the club has full confidence of Ronaldo and they are convinced that he has complied with every single item of the tax law.
'With coming to Real Madrid in 2009 Cristiano has always shown a willingness to comply with all tax requirements. We are absolutely convinced that Ronaldo will prove his innocence. Real hopes justice to prevail as quickly as possible!', reads the statement of Real Madrid.
