What is Hayward`s diagnosis and how long will it be? 19.10.2017

Gordon Hayward suffered a chilling trauma in his official debut for Boston Celtics. In fact, his season ended after just 5 minutes of play against Cleveland, and the expectations are that he will be operating tomorrow. What, however, is the correct diagnosis of the Celts` light wing trauma? It was originally reported that there was a fracture of the ankle, but then Boston coach Stevens said it was a fracture of the tibia (big tibia) and ankle shifting.




The good news about Hayward is that there are no directly affected connections and soft tissues. Typically, recovery from this type of trauma varies between 4 and 6 months, but it is unlikely that we will see Gordon on the ground this season, even if he can fit into the minimum rehabilitation periods.
