Conte apologized for his outburst with Swansea

30.11.2017

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte apologized for his breakout in the Soones (1:0) match. The Italian mentor leapt to fourth referee Lee Mason at the end of the first half after the hosts missed the game, and Referee Neal Surbrick was wrong in an out-of-court judgment. This inconvenienced Conte, who did not restrain his nerves and eventually was sent to the stands. Still, after the game, he found himself apologizing for his behavior. It is normal to apologize for your behavior during the match. In the first half I watched constantly as Swansea was trying to slow down the time. Several times I said this to the fourth judge, but without any effect. I was nervous and tried to tell him the same again, but then the referee decided to drive me out. I say again that I apologize because I made a mistake, but I`m burning in the matches with my players. Looking at the match and being unable to communicate with my players was very strange and difficult for me, said Conte.
