Southern failed to defend his title in Munich 27.04.2011

The champion of last year's tournament in Munich - Mikhail Youzhny failed in his title defense. The Russian representative was eliminated by the hosts after Philip Pechner 6:7, 6:3, 2:6.

In mid-April Youzhny, who in Germany was seeded first in the master plan, completed in the first round participation in the tournament in Monte Carlo.
