Djokovic and Federer wading in Madrid 5.05.2011

Two of the favorites in the tennis tournament in Madrid, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer reached a win today, which helped them to qualify ahead. The world number two beat Guillermo Garcia Lopez (Spain), 6:1, 6:2 for 51 minutes and qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament series Masters in Madrid.

So Djokovic equal Ivan Lendl's record, which began with 29 consecutive wins in season 1989. Djokovic will play the quarterfinals with the winner of the match between David Ferrer (Spain) and Stahovski (Ukraine).

At the same time Roger Federer wins easily Xavier Mavis also from Belgium 6:3, 6:4. So Federer will play the quarter finals.
