Tomas Berdych and Federer will compete in the semifinals of the tournament series "Masters" in Paris. It is the last season and has a prize pool € 2,750,000.

Federer today was much easier task. Considered by many the greatest player in the history of the game won 2-0 sets against Juan Monaco of Argentina after 84 minutes of play.

Federer ran over his opponent 6-3 in the first set. In the second things seemed much more equal, but the experience of Federer said his word and he managed to make a breakthrough at a crucial time - the 11th game and thus succeeded, albeit difficult to close the set and match at 7: 5.

Czech Republic's Tomas Berdych, seeded fifth in the scheme, threw big bomb, removing one of the biggest favorites Murray (4:6, 7:6, 6:4). The meeting lasted 3 hours and 12 minutes.

The first set went well for Murray, who with one week break in game won 6-4. In the latter, however, things were very equal and reached the tiebreak, which was dramatically Berdych won by 7-5 points.

In the third set decisively demonstrated Czech Republic's strong play and naturally won 6-4.

For the semi-finals without playing ranked Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (France), after Novak Djokovic (Serbia) gave up the fight. World No. 1 has a shoulder injury and left the tournament. Tsonga in the semifinals will play the winner of the match between David Ferrer (Spain) and John Isnar (USA).
