Senegal coach has left just two weeks after he was appointed

Newly appointed head coach of the national football team of Senegal Pierre Lechantre quit his post.

Just two weeks ago, 62-year-old was officially presented as a mentor of the team. Today, however Lechantre announced that conditions in the contract did not satisfy him.

The decision of the French coach was confirmed by the soccer federation of Senegal.

62-year-old was appointed in place of Amara Traore, who was fired in February after the Cup of African Nations.

In his coaching career Lechantre led the national team of Mali, Cameroon and Qatar, which won the African Cup in 2000.

Senegal will play with Liberia and Uganda next month qualification for World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
