Sergio Asenho renew his contract with Atletico Madrid 5.07.2012

The young talented goalkeeper Sergio Asenho renew his contract with Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2016, reported newspaper "Marca".

Over the past two years, the footballer suffers from severe injuries that prevented him to fight for a starting role at Atletico Madrid. In 2010 Asenho even was loaned from Atletico Madrid, Malaga, but then again return to the team "Altletico Madrid."

"I am ambitious to fight for starting place in the team. Thibault Courtois is very good and for me it is important to have strong competition, to be able to grow," comented Asenho.
