The former Argentina and Al Vasl coach Diego Maradona will probably take a new challenge after being shot during a meeting with a representative of the Chinese elite team

World Champion of 1986 has met with agents Daniel Do Reis and Diego Kativa in the UAE to discuss his future after being released from his obligations in Al Vasl.

The meeting was a representative of an unnamed Chinese team that would be interested in making Don Diego second Argentine coach in China after Sergio Batista.

According Do Reis, the talks have gone well and Maradona is open for the chance to continue his career in the Middle East.

"We met at his house and (Diego) seemed excited about the opportunity. We now discuss the economic part, "said the agent.
