QPR again turned their back on Barton - leaving him without number for the new season 17.08.2012

The future of Joey Barton as a player of Queens Park Rangers still remains uncertain after the former captain remained without number for the new season.

The previous number of the Englishman - 17, was given to the new addition Ryan Nelson, who came from Tottenham.

Barton was banned for 12 matches from the beginning of the season after receiving a straight red card against his former club Manchester City in a dramatic final round of the Premier League. The harsh penalty was imposed because of his behavior before leaving the ground, when kicked in the back Sergio Aguero, but the way out, try to get into a fight with Vincent Kompany.

During the summer, even the 29 years old midfielder was forced to prepare with 4 devision Fleetwood Town, and even participated in some of the controls of the humble team.
