Alan Pardew has agreed to sign a new, eight-year contract with Newcastle, the club announced. The owner of the "Magpies" Mike Ashley appointed the specialist in 2010. So the boss shocked by sacking Chris Houghton, who had led a team to promotion from the Championship.
