Blokhin won`t lead Ukraine in the matches against Moldova and Montenegro 9.10.2012

Oleg Blokhin won't lead Ukraine in World Cup qualifiers with Moldova and Montenegro, as still recovering from surgery in a hospital in Kiev.

Of the country's football federation announced that Andriy Bal will be headed the team in the absence of Blokhin.

The specialist said he would leave the national team after the World Cup qualifier against Montenegro on October 16, as was recently appointed coach of Dynamo Kiev.

On Saturday Blokhin had surgery because of thrombosis of the left carotid artery and is not yet clear how long he will remain in the hospital.
