FA prohibit the social networks of the English internationals 18.10.2012

FA announce a six-page document with rules that all national players of all ages in the UK must comply or risk disciplinary action.

Of the English internationals are prohibited from using any social networks 24 hours before each match.

The new rule comes into effect from November. FA did reveal that the decision to enter a new rule came after recent comments from Ashley Cole and Ryan Bertrand on Twitter.

A large part of these six pages with the rules are related to the prohibition to criticize on Twitter / Facebook.

"Without Twitter and Facebook the day before or the day of the match, unless there is a special permit," said one of the new rules.
