Genoa boasted a midfielder at Sporting 26.01.2018

23-year-old midfielder of Sporting (Lisbon) Yuri Meadeiros is the latest addition to Genoa. He is assigned to the team by Luigi Feraris for a period of 18 months. There is also an option to buy Mederosch from the Italian club for 10m euros. Under certain conditions, the transfer will become mandatory. Sporting will receive 1 million euros for the rent, and will also receive 20% for a possible next sale of the technical midfielder.


Medeiros recorded only 6 matches for Sporting since the start of the season in the Portuguese Championship, in which he played 127 minutes and made an assistant. Last summer, Russians Zenith and Krasnodar offered 12 and 10 million euros respectively for Medeiros, but Sporting declined both offers.
