 | | Montella:I`m happy, we showed character12.04.2018 |
Sevilla coach Vincenzo Montetello praised his players for their performance in Bayern Munich (Munich) in the 1/4-final in the Champions League. The Allianz arena ended with a score of 0:0, which ranked the German champion ahead, however the Italian specialist said he was proud of his team.
We played a good game. We were acting well and we had our chances. They were not quite clean, but we missed a good position in the first half through Sarabia and one in the second half through Korea. I`m glad we showed a character, though it was not easy for us. Our rival can win the Champions League, but we leave the tournament with proudly raised heads. And luck was not on our side. In the first game we scored two goals and today we hit a beam. Now we need to pay more attention to the championship to qualify for Europe next year, `said Montella.
