Anderlecht kept the intrigue in Belgium 17.04.2018

Polish national Lukas Theodorchik became the hero of Anderlecht, who beat 1:0 Bruges in the big derby of Belgian football and ended the intrigue in the title battle. The home striker scored the only shot in the 52nd minute. The first half was equivalent and without many interesting situations in front of the two doors. At the beginning of the second part a static position led to a goal in the door of Bruges. The visitors` defenders dropped Theodorchik and he scored his head.


Players in Bruges thought they had scored in the 81st minute, but their shot was canceled because of an ambush.

Bruges remains the leader in the playoffs for the title with 37 points, Anderlecht is second with 34, and the third Ghent has 31.
