 | | Tottenham fans want guidance from the management21.11.2019 |
The Tottenham Supporters Trust (THST) has issued a statement sharing its concerns about future co-operation between new manager Jose Mourinho and club management. They insist on explaining to them what the bosses are planning on engaging with that specialist.
Last night, fans expressed their disappointment at the decision to release Mauricio Pochetino. They claim that the Argentine has fallen victim to the policy of Spurs bosses. In this regard, they hope Mourinho will enjoy more support.
Here`s what the THST opinion says:
There are obvious concerns about how Jose and our Board of Directors will work together, and accordingly we ask for more transparency about how their relationship will develop.
The transfer policy, pay and accountability issues we raised in our earlier declaration regarding Pochettino`s dismissal are still valid today and we urge the club to openly share its plans with fans.
The club should take care not to get into the same position after 2-3 years. We also want to know from the Board of Directors what the long-term plans for this appointment are and what the role of the Board itself will be.
As a fan organization, we hope for a bright future that reflects the identity and traditions of Tottenham that the fans of the team so cherish.
