 | | Donovan Mitchell: Our duet with Gobert didn`t work out on set, but we don`t hate each other6.01.2023 |
Cleveland guard Donovan Mitchell shared his expectations from the meeting with former teammate Rudy Gobert, who plays for Minnesota.
We gave Utah a lot of special moments, but as you know, we didn`t get the job done. We have a great relationship with him, despite what people might think. Our duet did not work on the site, but we do not have hatred for each other.
This was the one time something went wrong. We live in a world where all people hate each other and there must always be some negative things. But in this situation there is nothing of the kind. When we see each other, I will hug him, smile and laugh. And the game will not be up to it at all, ” Mitchell admitted.
Mitchell and Gobert played together for Utah from 2017 to 2022. During this time, they never reached the conference finals, despite outstanding results in the regular season.
