Yasika disqualified for cocaine on returning to tour: Decided to try again 4.07.2024

Australian Omar Yasika commented on his return to the tour. In 2018, he was disqualified for cocaine, he returned in 2022, won 61 matches and rose to 228th place.

I really missed competing. And I thought I`d just tell myself: Go and enjoy it, try again.

Honestly, I was very happy to get back on tour and start competing again. Of course I was a little nervous because I haven`t seen everyone in like four or five years and everyone is playing really well. And it was like I was just watching these people on TV.

Today Jasika lost to Denis Kudla in the first round of Australian Open qualifying (1:6, 1:6).
