World No. 7 Francesca Skiavone won the most interesting match in women from the beginning of the Australian Open. Italians break Svetlana Kuznetsova from Russia with 6:4, 1:6 and unique third set that lasted just 3:00 and ended at 16:14 on Skiavone. Thus the battle between the two has become the longest in the history of the Australian Open.
